Hurts, 24, has gone 15-1 in his second full season as the No. 1 signal-caller for Philadelphia (15-3) after guiding the club to a 38-7 win over the New York Giants in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs 2023.

Why the Eagles can cover
Purdy has played a major role in San Francisco’s 12-game winning streak, as he has thrown for 1,854 yards with 16 touchdowns and just three interceptions in eight of those contests. Christian McCaffrey has also been a force, averaging 111.8 scrimmage yards (third-most in NFL) and scoring 12 touchdowns (tied for most) during the surge. The 26-year-old running back has reached the end zone in eight consecutive contests, rushing for five TDs and making four scoring catches while posting the longest streak by a 49er since Terrell Owens’ nine-game run in 1998.
San Francisco’s defense struggled against the pass this season, ranking 20th with an average of 222.9 yards allowed, but it still can make life difficult for Hurts. The 49ers were first overall in total defense (300.6 yards), points allowed (16.3) and interceptions (20). San Francisco was second against the run (77.7 yards allowed) and first in turnover differential (plus-13), while defensive end Nick Bosa led the league with a career-high 18.5 sacks. Why the 49ers can cover
Since taking over for an injured Jimmy Garoppolo (foot) in Week 13 against Miami, Brock Purdy has looked like anything but a quarterback who was selected with the 262nd and final pick of the 2022 NFL Draft. The 23-year-old from Iowa State led San Francisco to victory in that contest and each of its following seven, throwing for 1,854 yards with 16 touchdown passes and only three interceptions. Purdy has posted a 116.0 passer rating since making his first career start in Week 14, the best in the league over that span.
Purdy has formed a strong connection with George Kittle since replacing Garoppolo, completing 31-of-41 pass attempts to the tight end for 447 yards and seven touchdowns. The 29-year-old Kittle posted his only 100-yard performance of the campaign with Purdy at the helm and made all seven of his TD catches during a four-game streak to end the regular season. Kittle had the most productive effort of his playoff career last weekend, when he hauled in five passes for 95 yards against the Cowboys. See which team to pick here.
