Like the cars he enjoys racing, Chabot College President, Robert Carlson's life has always been on the move.
Carlson will be leaving Chabot next February, temporarily taking the position of vice chancellor for educational services and planning, before he finally retires from the district in August of 2008.
Student services can keep transferees on track for a 4-year degree

"Chabot is awesome." Some may agree, some may strongly disagree. Others will kick dust over the line in the middle.
Whatever the case, there are a variety of services on campus to help the students succeed.
In fall 2003, 50 percent of Chabot College students wanted to transfer with or without an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree, according to the Chabot College Office of Institutional Research's Executive Summary on student characteristics and outcomes 2003-2004.
