Linda Amayo, the director, said, "The play is a Mexican-American version of Alice in Wonderland with a touch of the Wizard of Oz.

Soulful R&B artist loses his originality
The much anticipated, follow up album of hit making artist, Ne-Yo, seems to have been a vision into the past. As you listen to his CD, one might wonder whether they are listening to the artist formerly known as Prince or Michael Jackson. Though his cliché beats do not take away from Ne-Yo's lyrical abilities, it seems this once unique and original artist has taken his inspiration from past artists a little too far.

Celebration of Mexican holiday in Hayward

Cinco de Mayo commemorates the 1862 victory of the Mexican army over the French at La Batalla de Puebla or The Battle of Puebla.  Although Mexican forces were greatly outnumbered, under the command of General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguin, they triumphed. With this victory, Mexico demonstrated to the world that Mexico and all of Latin America were willing to defend themselves against any foreign intervention no matter the odds.
