The Truth Is

Here at Chabot, the Gladiator athletic department has put together some impressive teams that have had spectacular seasons, and should earn Chabot another excellence in athletics award.
Last year I said we sucked as a whole because none of the fall athletic teams reached, and some didn't even come close to a playoff game.
And the truth is fall sports did suck. With the exception of football… half the time.
The golf team won its 12th Coast Conference Championship, and the women's swim team had an undefeated year and won it's fifth conference title since 2000 under head coach Greg Kubicki.
The men's and women's tennis teams are both undefeated bringing home another Coast Conference Championship, and are in contention to capture a Nor Cal title.
Chabot's baseball team is once again having a great year, and will again reach this year's playoffs.
The men's basketball team had a good year going 22-12 reaching this year's playoffs for the second consecutive season under head coach Dennis Aye.
The truth is Chabot has the potential, and hopefully will do better in the fall and make this college have the best athletic department in Northern California.
