Sandoval is still hitting above .400 with a .423 batting average to lead the team, a .699 slugging percentage to lead the team, 52 RBI's, to lead the team, 66 hits to lead the team, 13 double's which, if you haven't guessed leads the team, and is second on the team with eight home runs and has a home run in two of the last three games.
Santiago has improved his season batting average to .323, has 34 RBI, seven home runs, and a .551 slugging percentage, complemented by a .395 on base percentage.
Rob Learned had a two-of-four hitting day, in which he scored twice, and drove in one run. Learned's batting average this year is .384 and he leads the team in home runs with nine. Learned has also compiled 39 runs batted in, 36 runs scored, and leads the team with 31 strikeouts.
Charles Roberson matched Learned's day, going two-for-four with a run scored, two doubles and two RBI's. Roberson's batting average is .336, he has a .443 slugging percentage, and a .461 on base percentage. Roberson might also want to take a step back from the plate since he has been hit by 15 pitches and leads the team in that category.
Stephen Gatehouse also had a good game going two-for-three with a run scored and a run batted in. Gatehouse might have had three hits, but was hit by a pitch in one of his three trips.
Chabot returned home Tuesday to host West Valley who sought revenge from the 20-3 beat down the Gladiators handed out. West Valley was successful and hammered Chabot 9-1.
Sandoval, Learned, Roberson, and Trevor Sampson were the only Gladiators to record hits.
Chabot will return home Tuesday May 1 to host Hartnell in what will be the final home game of the year, before beginning playoff action.
