If you have actually cracked a Bible, you would know of the millions and billions of violent deaths recorded in the scripture, especially in the Old Testament. These deaths are a testimony of God's sovereignty and his determination to punish the wicked.

Whether it be God raining fire upon Sodom and Gomorrah, him drowning the wicked of the antediluvian world, drowning the Egyptian army in the Red Sea, killing all the firstborn of Egypt, or sending the children of Israel to annihilate the Canaanites, or destroying rebellious Israel using the Assyrians, all of these acts show the mighty hand of God at work.

The books of Daniel and Ecclesiastes tell us that God doeth as he pleaseth in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of earth, and none can stay his hand or say unto him what doest thou?

So it is God that controls the hearts of men as the Proverbs say. And as seen in the Bible, he has ordained many men to destruction while showing mercy on whomsoever he chooses.

God hates the wicked but loves the righteous. He set his standard in the earth and it's every man's duty to obey it. Those that obey his commandments are blessed. But those that fail to obey his commandments are cursed.

Through the Old Testament, God has given us a sure word and a clear picture of what happens to the people that obey and to the people that disobey. God told Adam in the garden of Eden that he would die if he ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. When Adam did not obey, God cursed him and cast him out of the garden. And Adam did die as recorded in Genesis 5:5.

God would be a liar if he did not punish those that fail to keep his commandments and those that commit iniquity. He saw the Amalekites and their iniquity, and commanded the children of Israel to slay every last one of them, even their infants.

Thank God for all of his righteous judgments and fear him because it is your duty. God is the potter and humans are the clay.

He makes both vessels fitted for mercy and vessels fitted for destruction and for the eternal fires of hell. God has made all things for himself, even the wicked for the day of evil.

And today, the standards of God recorded in the Bible still hold true. All the wicked and those that love violence are hated by God. God does not love everyone.

He is kind and is very patient with the wicked. But if a wicked person does not turn from their evil ways, then God sends them to hell as he promised.
