2007 Graduate as keynote speaker:
Students in the 2007 graduating class are invited to compete to be the keynote speaker at the ceremony on May 25, 2007.

Students who are interested must notify vice-president, Melinda K. Matsuda by April 25. If anyone is interest in participating in the process for selecting this individual please e-mail, Danielle Campi or contact her at her extension, 6743.

Jazz Band Benefit Concert:
The fourth annual benefit concert for the Chabot College Jazz Band is scheduled to take place at Yoshi's Restaurant and World Class Jazz House in Oakland, Monday April 23. The benefit will feature two performances at 8 and 10 p.m. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased by calling (510) 723-7233 or at Yoshi's on the day of the event.

Student Art Exhibition:
The third annual student art exhibition started March 29 and it will run through May 15. Open Tuesdays 12 to 1 p.m and 6 to 7 p.m, Wednesdays 1 to 2 p.m and 6 to 7 p.m and Thursdays from 12 to 1 p.m.

Transfer students:
The Transfer Student Recognition Ceremony will be on Wednesday May 2, at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria. For more information please drop by the TECS center in Room 146, Building 100.

Aspire:
The Aspire program is looking for students to join their program. Aspire is a student program designed to help you meet your academic goals. There is one on one counseling available, college campus visits, transfer assistance and much more. The applications are in Room 2325, Building 2300 if there are any questions call 510-723-7547.

Denim Day:
Thursday, April 26, 2007 in Building 2300 Lobby at 11a.m. A table will be outside the security office with information, resources, referrals, educational handouts and refreshments.
