In spite of his many achievements, he is still very persistent in his search to learn more and progress. Currently he is studying law. He stated, "I think that it is important for educators to continue researching and refining their understanding of developments in their fields.
I perceive the study of law fundamental to our understanding of social relations in all of our institutions. Furthermore, law is both a theoretical as well as a practical discipline which means that one person can make a positive difference in society."
However, if he were to ever leave his profession as a teacher, he would never forget the students who have walked in and out of his classrooms.
He stated, "When I see students set goals, study hard, and go onto their college or vocational school of choice, it is most important to me and I continually emphasize to my students the hardships they will encounter and the discipline which they will need to endure four or more years of training until they accomplish their goals.
There are many memorable moments that I have had, but they are all tied to hearing from students who have gone on and completed what they set out to do in spite of their personal and academic hardships."
