Monday, April 16 at 7 p.m. at the Life Chiropractic College West there will be a community meeting about the proposed new Hayward power plant.
Chabot Classified Senate
The Chabot Classified Senate is sponsoring a fundraiser with high expectations to raise money for its Second Annual Classified Staff Scholarships and Awards.
Last year, the senate was proud to distribute one $500 scholarship and two $250 recognition awards to their honored and respected classified staff.
The 50/50 raffle will allow participants to win half of what was fundraised, and the drawing will take place April 25, May 23 and June 20.
The cost of the raffle tickets are $1 and you can receive six for $5. The following classified staff will have tickets available for purchase: Nanette Aldana Bldg. 200, Kim Cao Bldg. 2600, Laureen Dutra Bldg. 100, Tency Franco or Debra Kling Bldg. 700 and Alice Lo Bldg. 2000.
Retirement Celebration
Friday, April 27, at the Palm Event Center in Pleasanton, there will be a retirement celebration in honor of chancellor, Susan Cota. For more information, please call Bev Bailey at (925) 485-5207.
