Timeless tradition engages Chabot instructors
Two Chabot College math instructors, Dave Foucet and Ming Ho, perform in a very old, traditional dance called morris. Morris dancing is an ancient tradition of dance and music that comes from the Cotswold region of England. Existing records say that the morris dance dates back to 1448, but the origins of the name are uncertain.

Striving Black Brothers Coalition continue to thrive
The Striving Black Brothers Coalition has been progressing strong. The SBBC have been active for two semesters now with 22 students. The programs have been helping the brothers with college life and transition. SBBC provides scholarships which are available for brothers to apply; they also help brothers with the application process when needed.

Gladiators rallied together

Many voices were heard at the ASCC sponsored student's rights rally last Thursday. Many interests were voiced during the speech and performance section including the Black Student Union, The Associated Students of Chabot College, alumni, and The Spectator, all speakers calling for students to be united and active in student activities and governance of Chabot College.
