In a response to the article on Wi-Fi being available on campus in the March 15 issue
Dear Editor:
In the March 15 article of the Spectator, the original article stating that the only place on campus where Wi-Fi service was available was at Building 2300. That statement was incorrect. There are also available Wi-Fi portals at the Disabled Students Resources Center as well as the library and they have been there since 2004.
Any laptop with a WiFi card will work on any of the study tables and in the study rooms inside the library. The study rooms are available for groups of students two or more for a maximum of two hours a day. However, plug outlets for laptops are not as numerous but are available near a few study tables in the reference room and in the hallway. Library subscription services are also available on Wi-Fi as well.
