Daily we are bombarded with body images, either you see them when you pick up the newspaper, when you are watching the television or maybe when you are flipping through your favorite magazines. The pressure cooker is set on high, either you conquer the heat, which means you are acceptable in the eyes of society or you evaporate due to the fact that you think you are too fat or skinny.

From 1986 to 1993, I was a student at Chabot College. From 1990 to 1991, I was President of the ASCC, and from 1991-1992 I was Editor-in-Chief of The Chabot Spectator. During my tenure, the one lesson that was emphasized time and again in my dealings with faculty and staff was "compromise.

I recently read the article in the Spectator on the issue of trees. I felt [that] there were some thing's not mentioned. Recently we had a tree fall over near G lot instead of just cutting it up, Tom Fuller decided to relocate it to a different location, side of the theater.
