The Measure B program, which consists of a $498 million bond, is supposed to provide newer, better facilities for Chabot College. So far, there has been construction to remodel and upgrade several of those facilities, but new construction is slow to start for various reasons.

Several news programs have recently covered the exploits of Hollywood director James Cameron in the Holy Land, where archaeologists claim they have found the ossuaries (small bone-stacking coffins) of the Holy Family, Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. A DNA test conducted on the contents of two of the ossuaries concluded that the "Jesus" and "Mary" specimens belonged to two people not even related by blood (although possibly by marriage.
