ASCC Scholarships:
Chabot students have until March 28 to apply for $30,000 in scholarships awarded by the ASCC in May. Among the awards are the President's Award for Leadership Achievement ($1,000), two Board of Trustee Scholarships ($ 500 each), a Cesar Chavez Scholarship ($500) and more than a dozen other scholarships. The application packet for ASCC scholarships is available in the Office of Student Life, Building 2300 or online at
Transfer Center:
Students will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from CSU East Bay by appointment, starting at 10 a.m. on March 5.
Mills College:
Mills college will have a table set up in the lobby of Building 2300 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Mills will also be hosting the workshop, "How to Apply to a College," which will proceed immediatly after the lobby time until 1p.m. in Room 146 of the TECS Center.
Open House:
In celebration of its 45th anniversary, Chabot College will host its first-ever open house on Saturday, May 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This family oriented event will give instructors the opportunity to showcase their programs and services to the community.

The ASCC and the Inter-Club Council are sponsoring Club Day and a "Fight for College Hour Rally," a noon March 15 Building 2300.
