Three new staff members mid-spring

Students should get reacquainted with staff

While they have been here teaching and helping guide other students, they have also made some fond memories. What are their most memorable ones so far?

Stevens says, "A few semesters ago I got to be the long-term substitute for Helene Looze, my predecessor teaching Western Civilization at Chabot. Since I was taking over for the rest of the semester, I had to meet with Professor Looze on several occasions to ensure as seamless a transition as possible. It was a pleasure and a great learning experience to work with her, even for such a brief time, and so far that is the most significant memory I have of Chabot College."

Warda stated for her favorite memory, "[It was] producing a readers' theater last spring for national competition." When asked the same question, Soares replied, "It was having students return to talk to me, to find me, to look for me. Students that I have worked with that have enjoyed my company, my friendship and have thought enough to return to me and tell me how they are doing."

The next time students are scrambling to figure out which teacher to take, or who can help you with your research paper, you can think of these three new staffers to be here to teach and help others.
