Community Education Night

Chabot College Math Instructor Receives Award
Daryl Crew of the math department faculty was recently awarded the CMC3 Teaching Excellence Award. The award was given last month at the California Mathematics Council of Community Colleges (CMC3) held in Monterey.
Transfer Center
Students can come to the Transfer Center and speak with representatives at the following Colleges: Feb. 5 at 10 a.m. Notre Dame de Namur University, Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. CSU East Bay by appointment, and Feb. 8 at 9:30 a.m. UC Berkeley with Keith Shoon.
New Librarian
Welcome Chabot's Debbie Soares, the newest addition to the library staff. Now you can come to her for reference help, circulation issues, library orientations and more.
Learning Connection Turtorial Programs
The Math lab located in room 1712 offers: drop-in tutoring; with peer tutors and instructors available. The WRAC Center, room 822 has drop-in tutoring in reading and writing; with peer tutors and instructors available through English 115.
The Language Center located in room 2351, has drop-in tutoring in ESL, French, Spanish, and probably Japanese with peer tutors and instructors available through ESL.
