Predators seek victims on popular social interactive Web sites; can we protect them?

Today there is a new crave. It is not fashion, not a diet or even a new club opening. It is the social interactive Web sites people use to keep in touch with friends, family, or possibly even to meet new exciting people. Myspace is only one of these sites but it alone harbors millions of members who can freely search for new friends with just the click of a button.

Approximately 5,000 young people under the age of 21 die as a result of underage drinking every year.
This number includes about 1,900 deaths from motor vehicle crashes, 1,600 as a result of homicides, 300 from suicide, as well as hundreds from other injuries such as falls, burns, and drowning.

Associated Students of Chabot College work together with the Red Cross to seek for volunteers

On Jan 29, the ASCC held a blood drive on campus in building 2300. ASCC's goal was to have 48 people running the drive in coordination with the Red Cross. The Red Cross is in need of blood within the community as well as nationwide. Many hospitals are in desparate need of blood donations and turn to the community to organize blood drives.
