Inconvenient truth or convenient lie?
I am one of the elder students at Chabot. I encourage all of you to make an effort to see the documentary, An Inconvenient Truth. As I look back on the life I have enjoyed with my family and the changes I have seen, I dread to consider what waits for this generation of students.

Students not guided to success

Do students need more guidance? Community colleges have no problem with getting many students to enroll but they do have a problem with keeping them. California has 109 community colleges, making California the world's largest post- secondary education system.

There is nothing wrong with traditional
Regarding the op-ed piece by Jack Barnwell in the Nov. 30 issue of The Spectator, bemoaning the emphasis at Chabot on traditional photography classes at the expense of digital photography. Barnwell feels that we are about changing Chabot photo students by continuing to offer a full range of traditional classes.
