Recalling his favorite highlight he spoke smiling "It was the first play of my senior year, we were on the one yard line and the play was a dive.
I was in good condition, feeling good, the team was feeling good, the ball was snapped and when the quarterback gave it to me I broke 99 yards for the touchdown."
When asked why he was so good he answered " I wasn't always this good, it took a lot of hard work, and I got to give it up to my linemen. Rommie, John, Joe, Chris, and Jeremy, it's them that look good, all I do is finish the play."
Recalling how a coach once told him to get four yards, Eldridge says his main focus when his number is called is to get four yards.
He averaged 5.6 this year.
Eldridge said during the interview, "Well when I compare myself to some of the other talent that's out there I can say yeah, I'm better, because of how I work, it's my work ethic."
Although Eldridge says he is not being recruited by any of the Universities he'd like to attend, he says he is receiving a few offers from some smaller schools.
Eldridge mentioned he would love to go back home and play for the University of Washington mainly because "It's home; I can be close to my mom and my family, who I love and miss very much. I'd like for them to be able to come see me play."
Eldridge will be returning home to eat up all of mom's home cooking Dec. 21.
