Stoia has displayed Blackbird all around the Bay Area on tour, ending at Hayward's own E-on Café, right across the street from Chabot College.
Inspired from the famous Beatles' song, "Blackbird," the driving force behind the creation of Blackbird was Stoia's love for birds.
On Tuesday, the Chabot College Bookstore held its se-cond fashion show. The fashion parade was held in the cafeteria at noon. The event was put to-gether and planned by Steve Stevenson. Each model received $20 to go towards their school organization. Therefore, each group in the show raised money for school.

The Chicano Latino Education Association (CLEA) of Chabot College is featuring the Ballet Folklorico Mexicano's 39th annual dance concert, Navidad en Mexico, showcasing intricate footwork and colorful costumes by more than 50 performers with live mariachi and singers.
