New Grand Developer/Writer Hired
Yvonne Wu Craig has been hired as the new grant developer/writer for Chabot. Chabot will welcome her with a reception Nov. 13 at noon, so she can meet and get to know many of you.
Progressive Video Series
Students for Social Justice presents The Big Buy: How Tom Delay Stole Congress. The video features former Congressmen Tom Delay as he talks about corruption and his legacy of corporate greed and political bullying. The movie will be played tonight at 6 p.m. in Room 916. This event is free and open to public.
Halloween Event
On Oct. 31, ASCC and ICC will be hosting a event at the Grand Courtyard from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. The even will consist of costume contest for both men and women with cash prizes and free BBQ and candy for students.
Wine 'n "Weed" Party
Chabot College Library will hold its second Wine 'n "Weed" party Friday afternoon Nov. 3 after the library closes at 2 p.m. Cheese and crackers, wine, coffee and other refreshments will be served. All faculty and staff are welcome but faculty should come prepared to do some work and pull books no longer relevant to the college.
Dental Hygiene Information Day
The Chabot College Department of Dental Hygiene is hosting a free public Information Day to introduce its popular dental hygiene program on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Little Theater Room 1250.
