Get Thrilled with The Departed

This movie takes place some years ago, in Boston. The Departed was a sick thriller. I definitely recommend this movie if you're tired of watching the usual lame comedies or the remade horror flicks.

This movie is for you. Not only is there a hot cast, but also the action, drama, twists, and irony make the film all that much better.

The characters are well thought out and there are parallels between the characters. Colin Sullivan (Matt Damon) plays a crooked FBI agent. He works for Irish kingpin Frank Costello. Costello has his people everywhere; he controls a lot of the crime that goes on in and outside of Boston.

Billy Costigan, (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a young man who didn't pass the police academy but has the heart to be a cop. So he is hired to do an undercover mission for the state police to catch Costello.

Both the FBI and state police are working on the case so both side need to watch for the "rat." Two men from the opposite sides of the law are undercover in the Boston Police Department and the Irish Mafia.

This will all unravel as events go on and discoveries are made.

Some rats will be found and others will get away. The point is to find the enemy and identify him. No one wins in this movie. I definitely recommend watching this thriller. There hasn't been a movie like this since Training Day. Go and check it out.
