Is the American dream alive or not?

The Statue of Liberty and its engraving stating, "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free" is an obsolete, absurd symbol.

The dream is not a singular thing; in fact the concept of the American dream is different for different groups.

Bush administration makes wrong choices

Since The Bush administration always gets on the news for making bad choices, I decided to take a positive look at what our wonderful leader has accomplished in his two terms in office.

People attack our leader everyday, yet I think to myself, who is dumber?

The idiot, or the people who put said idiot in power? I mean, would you put your fate in the hands of a monkey and expect the monkey to take responsibility for his actions? NO!

Because you cannot teach a monkey responsibility, in our case you cannot teach a trust fund baby to think of others.

Many reasons not to vote

One of America's greatest traditions is once again under attack.

Every four years, as election days falls upon us, America is filled with the cries and lamentations over the seemingly lackadaisical public and their continued refusal to take to the polls.

Those who decide to spend their time at home or work instead of exercising their electoral duty are accused of being lazy, selfish, and worst of all, unpatriotic.
