With so much success in the past, on Thursday Nov. 5 Chabot College School of the Arts presents the chamber music recital featuring: Artie Storch’s Percussion Ensemble, Director Of Instrumental Studies Tim Harris’ Chamber Ensemble, Richard Flores’ Guitar Ensemble, Director Of Jazz Studies Jon Palacio’s Latin Jazz Ensemble, and Soloists such as Hiedi Arnoot, Nicolas Gerst, and Joyce Lee.
Because of Chabots’ great music instructors, extraordinary musicians and vocalists, this recital has officially sold out, but don’t worry, these next two months will be very busy for the music program at Chabot.
On Nov. 7 Cal-State East Bay hosts The Free Fall Jazz Festival which both the Jazz Lab and Ensemble will attend Dec. 2 the performing art center will host the Winter Wind Band Concert. On Dec. 3 the Jazz Combo groups will perform in the recital hall. And keep in mind the jazz bands winter concert with a mystery guest artist is coming up on Dec. 8. It would be wide to reserve your tickets weeks in advance so you do not get left out of the fun with these great groups.
