The great San Francisco Pillow Fight was put on by the “Pillow Fight Club” this past Valentine’s Day at Justin Herman Plaza in San Francisco.
Before the pillow fight started, the crowd was restless. War cries and pillow shaking terrorized the streets. As one, the crowd would hoist pillows overhead while shaking and shouting, causing quite the spectacle.
As the Ferry Building clock struck 6 p.m. the tension finally erupted into thousands of pillow strikes that made a thunderous sound and rent the air with screams of joy/ As the night progressed pillow filling filled the air as casings burse and plumes of down feathers rose above the mob.
The melee continued until 10 p.m., at which point a dance party clean up commenced and the plaza was returned to its feather-free state.
